Here you will meet your tour guide and driver for the trip and embark on a guided coach tour through dazzling Time Square. Driving through Time Square offers you a chance to see the hustle and bustle in one of the busiest parts of Manhattan. Your tour guide will provide you with plenty of information about this hub of New York throughout your coach tour.
Along the way, you will stop at several must-see places in Midtown Manhattan. Your first stop will be the Rockefeller Centre, a historic landmark of NYC. The Rockefeller Centre spans across 22 acres and consists of 19 high-rise buildings, including the infamous Radio City Music Hall, which is another stop on your tour. Finally, you will head over to St Patrick’s Cathedral, located across from the Rockefeller Centre. This renowned neogothic church from the 1800s is another prominent landmark of New York City.
Continuing your tour towards Fifth Avenue
After seeing the what Midtown Manhattan has to offer, you’ll head downtown towards Fifth Avenue and make a stop at Madison Square Park. Here you will have the chance to take photos of two of the most iconic buildings in NYC: The Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building. Both of these buildings are world famous and feature unique architectural elements. The Empire State Building was constructed in the 1930s and is a 102-story art deco skyscraper. Just minutes away from the Empire State Building is the Flatiron Building, which was originally called the Fuller Building. The building is best known for its innovative triangular shape. Since 1979, the Flatiron Building has been on the National Register of Historic Places.
After the first part of your tour, you’ll be able to have a quick lunch at a place of your choosing. Then you’ll continue your tour by heading to Wall Street and seeing the 9/11 Memorial as well as Trinity Church. Trinity Church was a place where many people took refuge during the terrorist attacks of September 11th in 2001. You will have the opportunity to learn more about 9/11 at the memorial located at the site of Ground Zero—where the World Trade Centre buildings previously stood.
