Eleven Madison Park is not just one of the best restaurants in New York; it’s one of the best restaurants in the world. In fact, in 2017 it took out the number one spot on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. To say you have to go here is an understatement.
Diners can expect to pay a little over $300 for the dining room tasting menu, which consists of eight to ten courses. However, they also have a cheaper offering in the bar tasting menu, which comes in at a very reasonable $175 for five courses.
Eleven Madison Park closed its doors in 2017, but thankfully for us, they were only renovating the kitchen and patrons can now enjoy an even superior experience than before. The food is described as contemporary American, but it is famous for its distinct New York flair.
Chefs Daniel Humm and Will Guidara bought the restaurant in 2011 and they’ve certainly been busy since then. Not content with staying in the kitchen, the duo has also released a number of cookbooks, including the Eleven Madison Park Cookbook. At least if you can’t get in, you can try your hand at some of the recipes yourself!
